Constituents: Saponins, mucilage, alkaloids, glycosides, tannins and mucilage.
Actions: Parturient, Emmenagogue, Diuretic, Astringent, Tonic, Alterative.
Preparing the uterus and whole body for child birth + Raspberry.
Painful periods, dysmenorrhoea +Cramp Bark, Pasque Flower.
Colitis, especially if there is much mucus.
Excessive mucous, catarrhal, leucorrhoea, chronic dysentery.
Chronic nervous feebleness and irritability.
Spermatorrhoea, + Althea, Celastrus, and Uva ursi.
Herbal extract: 10-40mL per week.
Energetics: Astringent, bitter, cool.
Meridians: liver, kidney.
